The Ministry at Pallant House Gallery
The Ministry 2002 has gone on display in ‘Re-opening 2020’ the new hang at Pallant House Gallery in Chichester. The Ministry, a pure wool rug woven at Avena Carpets Halifax, is based on the facade of the iconic Palacio Gustavo Capanema, the Ministry of Health & Education in Rio de Janeiro designed by Oscar Niemeyer, Lucio Costa, Le Corbusier and others in 1935-36 and the first modernist public building in the Americas.
