Struck and enamelled silver, 75 mm

Edition: 25

Historically, medals often used coded language to convey their message. Langlands and Bell have brought this conceit right up to date. The text can be read both within and across the rings and, with no hierarchy imposed on its arrangement, the viewer, turning the medal in the hand, can begin and end anywhere. The medal is a global compass that points everywhere at once.
