Exhibition Rescheduled
The Past is Never Dead…
From 16 May – 5 July 2020 Gallery 1957, Accra, Ghana will present “The Past is Never Dead…” a solo exhibition by Langlands & Bell that explore the architecture of the ‘Slave Forts’ built on the coast of Ghana by European slave traders following the construction of Elmina Castle by the Portuguese in 1482. Langlands are working with local artisans to produce many of the art works for the exhibition.
