Plunged in a Stream

2005

Virtual world, networked computer animation / data projection enabling multiple user interaction.

Fly-through extract.

Sited in the subterranean remains of the Coudenberg Palace, Plunged in a Stream is an interactive digital environment created as a response to the city of Brussels, it’s peoples and languages, and the palace’s spectacular archaeological site. Working in collaboration with BT’s research laboratories the artists forensic exploration of the site’s physical features is transferred into a digital construction that viewers navigate and explore virtually. This is a networked environment and the digitised site allows for the virtual interaction of it’s users.
