December 2010

Installing Kendrew’s Milestone a new Carrara marble sculpture (weighing 2.3 tons) inlaid with lead in the new quadrangle designed by Sir Richard MacCormack (MJP Architects) at St Johns College Oxford. The linear design inlaid in lead and synthetic resin maps the structure of the molecular protein Myoglobin revealed by Nobel Prize winner Sir John Kendrew in 1957.
